There are many reasons your benefits may be challenged:

The most common reason your benefits
may be challenged are:

  1. Employer has protested the determination and has had the decision reversed.

  2. You may need to re-register with Michigan Works!

  3. You may have exhausted your benefit weeks.

  4. You may not be reporting to MARVIN or reported late.

  5. The agency thinks you are not available and able to perform work.


These are only a few reasons, and these can be reviewed and corrected at the Hearing Level.
